About the Maine Windjammer Association

Founded in 1977, the Maine Windjammer Association represents the largest fleet of traditional sailing schooners in North America. All 10 Maine windjammers are individually owned and operated by U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains who work together to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort and professionalism.
