Charter a Maine Windjammer
Shipboard Weddings, Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats
When given the choice between bonding over stale danishes beneath flourescent lights or sipping freshly brewed coffee on the deck of a schooner that's been awarded National Historic Landmark status, most employees pick the schooner, hands down. And while a white wedding is always lovely, nothing beats a white wedding at sea where gulls and eagles soar overhead as couples declare themselves in the cove of a misty spruce-clad island.

On a Maine windjammer, grandparents, cousins and siblings will find plenty to do as they explore uninhabited islands together, poke through boutiques peppering tiny fishing villages along the coast, take turns at the helm, or simply relax and take it easy with a book on deck.

A Maine windjamming vacation is a series of daysails punctuated each afternoon with a stop at a Maine fishing village or uninhabited island. This schedule gives everyone the perfect balance of time together and time alone.

With passenger capacities ranging from 6-40 guests, the 12 vessels in the Maine Windjammer Association can accommodate most reunions, corporate retreats and wedding parties. If the group is larger, chartering a second boat is always an option. Most of the captains are licensed to perform weddings and will allow children of all ages on chartered cruises.
