PUMPKIN PIE
from the Victory Chimes

2 eggs
1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
1 3/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 unbaked pie shell

In a bowl combine the eggs, pumpkin and evaporated milk and mix well. In a separate bowl combine the sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves and mix with a large spoon. Mix both bowls together and pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 45 minutes longer. Makes one 9-inch pie.
