Things to Do in Midcoast Maine: Camden & Rockland

Camden and Rockland are two of Maine’ more popular, picturesque coastal communities. There are plenty of things to do in Midcoast Maine while you are waiting for your sailing vacation with any of the vessels of the Maine Windjammer Association fleet, chances are that you’re extending your vacation on other side of your sail by exploring the town and harbor.

Need a place to stay before/after your windjammer cruise?  The Maine Windjammer Association works with Camden Premier Inns and the Historic Inns of Rockland.

There is no lack of shops, antique & book stores, galleries, museums, and eateries to visit while you wait for or are rebounding from your cruise.

The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is an excellent source of information, as is the Maine Office of Tourism’s VisitMaine.com site.
